 | Title: Kohr-Ah - The Eternal Doctrine Remix Pack: 0 - Bonus Tracks Track #: 0 Length: 5:54 Remixed by: Jouni Airaksinen Original written by: Dan Nicholson Remix of: KOHR-AH.MOD Comments: Very soothing remix. I tried to keep the atmosphere of the original in this remix. I used some rain recordings I did record (safely) from my kitchen window last summer. Very subtle usage, maybe you can hear them.

It's been a while for me too. That said, this is an excellent track. Second only to the superb Starbase - Under a Red Sky. Thanks for the music everyone. May fortune smile upon you all.

I agree with Dan, and they also give you hope (as they see it). If you prove your self worthy in battle, you will reincarnate as a Kohr-Ah.
Meanwhile: To all those haters out their who poo-poo the first faster remix. I have come to realize that one way to look at it is; you meet them, you play the first remix, they fight you, you play 'Kohr-Ah Battle', you come back and say "The Words!", you play this while they explain it all to you.
Just sayin'...

Fits the Kohr-Ah a lot better than "Cleansing Required." When you listen to it, think of what the Kohr-Ah say and how they say it: "We are the Ur-Quan Kohr-Ah. We cleanse our destiny. You will soon die. Make whatever rituals are necessary for your species."
See? No inherent malice in it at all, and yet it chills one to the bone.

Sorry for second post,
But i must confuss, this music is the best music ever!
Not just because it is relaxing, but because it is also breathinking, i don't know about others but i get inspired by it each time i listen to it.
Its not just a normal regular "space-chillout-trance" type of music, it is a very special music, to me, i can listen to it 10 hours long, non-stop, without getting boored of it, this music can perfectly describe my life.
Thnx again for creating it.
I hope that there would be more amazing music-tracks just like this, but none will change The Eternal Doctrine, The Eternal Doctrine will guide me through the rest of my life.

All the albums are GREAT!
But this one is the best out of them all, just can't stop listening to it, so relaxing and wonder bringing.
Great work!

(By now you are probably fed up with my repeated comments)
This remix is as good as it can get. It is so.. neutral. It is really disturbing to hear the Kohr-Ah speak out loud, clear and calm sentences such as the one they say about the trophy bone pits. And unlike the Kzer-Za, they NEVER lose their temper, Calm, silent slaughterers. I mean, a bit more evil, and the UQM team should have a Nazi banner hanging behind the Kohr. Theyre THAT evil.

This mixes the worker aspect of the Kohr-Ah with their ancientness -- and does it well. It does seem to border on mystical, which is, I guess kind of appropriate... it seems to lose its vaguely industrial underpinnings after a while.

I like this a LOT better for the Kohr-Ah. It's not bad outside of the game either. Not quite spine tingling but it's a good match IMO. Rarely does it get high pitched or sound even remotely happy.

More appropriate for the Kohr-Ah than the main CD's music by far. Very soft, soothing menace. A real keeper.
