Is there an Ogg Vorbis version of this anywhere? Would really like to stick it in the game (ideally without converting between lossy formats).
I love how this and your "Electro Blast" remixes keep that high-flying upbeat feeling from the original song intact! "Across the Galaxy" references that sensation far too rarely and far too loosely for my tastes. Hyperspace doesn't need to feel empty when plenty of the exploration tracks are already effective at conveying the void of space. So thanks for keeping hyperspace alive & dancing!

The best SC2 remix up to date, in my humble opinion.
If I would need to choose just one remix to be included in the game, it would be this one.
Also, what is interesting is that this remix is actually remix of another remix from same author: "Hyperspace Electro Blast".

I love this one much more that the version in the 1st pack. This one really beats the original mod =)

Great sound! Has a bit of a Futurama feel to it, a world-class sound.
Sad to see that this fourth pack was never officially released :(

The rolling bassline was what made the original .MOD gold for me, and it works just as well here. :) The new instrumentation overlaying it is fabulous, spacey, and ethereal... perfect for a nice jaunt through the red stuff, you know?
BRILLIANT remix.

Do you guys know a Mark Vera? I've heard exactly this remix on OC Remix under his name.

I like this more than the hyperspace tune that comes with the remix pack with The Ur-Quan Masters, but something about this song strikes me as a little too weak -- in the sense of not being forceful, not in the sense of being a poor song. I think it's because the lead instruments have no real bass to them: you can hear the bass track for the original hyperspace theme, but the lead instruments sound passive by comparison, and the "twinkling" effect, for instance, is barely audible.

I come back every now and then to play this song. I just absolutely love it. It totally captures the feel of the game, and it has a rockin' beat. Dead-on perfect.

I, love, this, remix! It truly captures, for me, the original feel of the .mod track, and brilliantly updates it.
The other one, on the first remix pack, while still awesome, felt more like a "we cruisin' down da boulevard" song, like the hero rebuilt the "Vindicator" to be a low rider.
This one though, wow.

Awesome work, completely different to the original and even better!

Thanks Jouni! This one is done right. Excellent!

This is MAGNIFICENT. It's the best Hyperspace version yet without a doubt. :)

2:30 - tears on eyes any time.
Much better than previous version.

It brings back the feelings of playing SCII a long time back; it's very close to the MOD.
I'm still in debate of whether to use this one over the other Hyperspace remix.
Excellent job none-the-less.

Dude it's all about the break at 2'30". I like the way this track has been pepped up but it feels like the rhythm gets a little too broken up at times. Maybe bass would help bind it together.

The original hyperspace song was one of my favourites in SC2, and I was a little disappointed with the first remix, because it lacked the feeling of the original track. I was going to remix it myself, but I dropped the idea after hearing this second remix. It's fantastic and captures the original feeling well. Good work :)

I like this one better than the one used in the remix pack. Its not quiet perfect, the sound samples are a bit odd, I'd prefer them to be of a more instrumental nature. But it does come close to capturing the spirit of the original.

I'm not sure I dig this too much as a track to listen to on its own... but I suspect it would make for a great track in-game. Given that much of the criticism of the first remix was that it wasn't a great background music track, this seems a very smart move.
For my own part, I think the first remix is more the sort of tune I would put in an MP3 player, whereas this one is a great bit of video game music. As an added bonus, it should also quell some of the complaints of those fans who felt that the first remix wasn't true enough to the original.
All told, very nice. Very clever.
